What is an event
An event is an event that will have a beginning, an end and will take place in a certain place. It is possible to create any type of event, from going out in company, to soccer games, birthdays and much more. Each event is an invitation to all participants of that group (or to other friends added later) to participate in this event
Who can create an event
The event can be created by any participant in the group. The person who creates the event will also be the administrator
How to create an event
To create an event just click on the + button on the home screen and select the create event option. Alternatively, you can create an event directly from within a group, or by long clicking on an event (within the event list) and selecting the double event option.
Once the process of creating an event has been understood, it will be possible to insert all the data necessary for the generation of the latter including:
Group to belong to: is the group in which the event will be created; if the creation of the event takes place within the group or if the duplication of an event is requested, the group will already be selected (selection that can be modified), alternatively the group it belongs to must be selected. The group will identify the participants of the event
The event icon: you can choose an image to associate with the event; the image can be uploaded from the phone gallery, can be taken on the spot, or can be chosen via a web search. From the following information it will be possible to establish whether this image can be modified by all the participants of the event, or to grant modification permission only to the creator of the event.
Event name: will be the name that will be assigned to the event.
Start date and time: the start date and time of the event (must be later than the moment the event is created)
End date and time: the end date and time of the event (must be after the start date of the event)
Location: a description of the location of the event can be entered, or the geolocation can be loaded using a map position with GPS coordinates. For the latter, just click on the geolocation icon and select the exact location of the event from the map. The description of the position via GPS coordinates can always be varied or modified directly from the event creation screen
Description: short description of the event
Limited event: allows you to set the maximum number of participants in an event; if set, participants will be able to join only if the maximum number has not yet been reached
Restricted Icon: grants or denies gamma privileges to the event image to all attendees
Immediate participation: by selecting the option you will automatically participate in the event you have created
Once the minimum data has been entered, just click on the create button to create the event. All participants will be notified (if notifications are enabled) about the event you have created
Duplicate an event
An event can also be duplicated, which is useful if it occurs repeatedly over time. To duplicate an event, just long click on the desired event from the events section of the home screen or from the event details; in both cases it will be necessary to select the option "duplicate event"
By duplicating an event, you will access the event creation section (shown above) in which all the data of the event on which you have chosen to copy will be reported. All data will be easily editable.
What can be done in an event
When an event is created, the participants who will be notified of its creation will be all the members of the group to which the event is connected. In addition to group members, for a given event it is also possible to add participants who are not part of the group (guests); the latter will see the event but will not be part of the group.
The participants of an event can perform various actions within an event including:
Answer: all the participants of an event will be free to communicate whether or not to participate in the event; specifically, they can respond by selecting:
I participate
Maybe (also selecting the attendance percentage)
Rejection
View the image: By clicking on the event image it will be possible to view the full image of the event; in the event that the variation of the image of the event is granted to all participants, it will also be possible to change it. To change it, click on the menu at the top right and select the change option. In addition to the ability to edit the image, it will also be possible to save it in your gallery
Manage options: You can view, reply or create options in reference to the event in question. Based on the administrator permissions and privileges, it will be possible to act on the options section in a different way. For more information, we recommend that you view the section dedicated to event options.
View the maps: if the geolocation of the event location was set when the event was created, by accessing the maps section it will be possible to view the location of the event. From this section it is possible to view the geolocation of the other participants (only if the latter have shared their position in real time or sporadically). From this section it will also be possible to start navigation to reach the location of the event.
Muting an event: selecting or deselecting the option you can change all notifications in reference to the event. In case the group has already been changed, it will be necessary to reactivate the notifications on the group in order to re-enable the event notifications
Share your location in real time (other participants can see it on the map)
Notify that you have already arrived at the event (only works if you are near the event location)
Share the location at that precise moment
Make them administrators or revoke their permissions (only possible if you are an event administrator)

Responding to an event
For each event it will be possible to reply (or not) indicating whether or not you will participate in the event in which you were invited
Specifically you can answer:
I participate
Maybe (also selecting the attendance percentage)
Rejection
Regardless of the answer, it will be possible to leave a note that will be displayed by all participants within the event detail. You can always vary your answer.
As regards the limited number events, it will be possible to participate only and exclusively if the number of participants has not already reached the fixed limit.
When you upload or update a reply, a notification will be sent to all attendees, and they will be able to see your choice.
Event details
By accessing the event it will be possible to view all the details of the latter; in addition to what has already been explained above, it will be possible to view all the participants and the answers they have provided. All this in order to always keep an eye on the evolution of participation in the event.
The polls of an event
Polls are useful for asking information or requesting preferences from participants; For example you can create a poll with a simple question to which participants can simply answer with a yes or a no; if you are organizing a dinner, you may, for example, ask, do you prefer to eat inside the restaurant? Participants will be able to respond and these responses, based on the configurations, can be seen by everyone or only by the event admins or to who created the poll
One or more polls can be added to an event; Specifically, you can enter different choices (up to 20) and give all participants the opportunity to choose one or more options
In addition to the selectable options, it is also necessary to configure the visibility; the available configurations are:
Public (Each participant will be able to see all the other participants responses)
Reserved (Only the event administrators or the poll creator will be able to see the responses of the other participants)
When a poll is created, a notification will be sent to all the participants. The poll creator will also be able to solicit a response from participants that have not taken a choice yet
